Have you ever walked upon a frozen lake? Frozen alpine lakes that sit as a deep teal blue beneath snowy, towering peaks are one of my favorite parts about winter. The water gently waves from beneath the thick bubbly ice, a silent world underneath the frigid surface. The snow falls silently against the clear earth, falling into every crevice and nook created by footprints and warm sun. A bear walks along the backside, leaving tracks upon the crystalline snow. These Ice Blue Glacierite Agate stones instantly reminded me of these icy worlds, of crackling ice as it spreads across the frozen ground. Winter immortalized, for those of us who crave a little bit of cold as the warm spring sun peeks through.
