  • Can I reserve a piece from collection previews?

    Unfortunately, the answer is no. I wish to keep everything fair for everyone, which means that I cannot reserve or hold a piece for you, even with payment.
  • Do you take custom requests?

    Yes! Periodically between collections, I will take on a limited number of custom requests. I can often recreate pieces from previous collections, or we can chat about something totally unique to you! You can see if my customs are open through my Instagram bio (@stream.and.strata).
  • Do you offer payment plans?

    Yes! I am more than happy to split payments for you. A non -refundable deposit of 25% is required to hold your item, which I will hold for up to 8 weeks. We can then split the price up into as many installments as you need- we can discuss this on a case by case basis. I'm flexible!
  • Why should I sign up for your mailing list?

    Many small businesses rely solely on Instagram or other forms of social media to advertise themselves and stay in touch with their customers! This works great until we experience full-scale social media blackouts where nobody can post or engage, and in some rare cases, a full account will be disabled due to fraudulent scam accounts. This means that our whole client base is gone in the blink of an eye. Staying on someone's email list ensures that you will always receive updates from your favorite makers regardless of your or their status on social media. Plus, there's almost always little coupons as a thank you for being awesome!
  • Can you modify an item? (Resize rings, change ring to pendant, etc...)

    No, unless an item is clearly marked as MADE TO ORDER or adjustable, these requests cannot be accommodated. This is often because removing stones is extremely risky, and can lead to damage of the stone or the rest of the piece. It's best to inquire with me and we can chat from there. Necklace chains are an exception- I can usually switch those out if they are not integrated with the pendant itself.
  • How do I find out my ring size?

    You can find your ring size at home by ordering a plastic ring sizer (they can easily be found off Amazon), or for a very accurate measurement, have your local jeweler size you for both standard and wide bands. This service is free, easy, and accurate. If you don't know you ring size, and you are trying to snag something from an update, just input any number at checkout, then let me know once you have a chance to figure it out :) Please don't try to measure string, trust me, it doesn't work.
  • Why is my silver tarnishing? How can I get rid of it?

    Silver will develop a dark golden patina over time, it can be patchy and dark or uniformly golden. This occurs because the metal is oxidizing when exposed to air and moisture. The best way to prevent this is to store your jewelry in an airtight bag out of the sun when not in use. A polishing cloth will help to remove the oxidation, simply rub the cloth over the silver, being careful to avoid the stones, they don't like these cloths! Also be careful to avoid removing the intentional darkening that some pieces have. Please do not use chemical cleaner on your pieces with stones.
  • Can you track my order? Do you have additional information on my shipment?

    No, unfortunately I don't have any more information than you when it comes to untracked parcels. Please note that all US packages shipped via the Small Packet- USA Air method DO NOT come with tracking or insurance. It is still very secure and fast, but I cannot locate your package once it leaves my hands. You may upgrade your shipping method at checkout if you desire tracking for your order. I am not responsible for customs delays or fees.
  • Where can I find the most current testimonials?

    You can read the most current reviews for my newest creations under "The Archives" section of the shop. If the owner of the listed item left a review, you will be able to read it under the listing by clicking on the item and scrolling down past the images and description. You will be able to view a star rating as well as any words that the individual who bought the piece wrote. I leave this feedback unaltered and 100% honest as it was written.
