The Alpenglow Ring
Who else is an early bird? If you're like me and enjoy being the first ones out on a trail, then you've likely seen this absolutely stunning optical phenomenon known as alpenglow. It appears as a reddish orange pinky glow on the tips of the mountains when the sun is just below the horizon. It occurs at both sunrise and sunset! It's truly breathtaking every time, and for those fleeting minutes that the horizon glows red, it's pure magic. It invokes a sense of nostalgia for me, reminding me of every morning spent with good company, coffee in hand as we travel out to the most majestic place in all the land.
This ring was inspired by these magnificent moments before the sun peeks out, with a turquoise sun beaming rays of light into the sky. Each ray was sawn out by hand, and each ring textured with the rocks of the mountains themselves. Gritty and worn, yet smooth and weathered. It feels like it's been loved for years, already broken in in just the right places.

Made in your size, please choose your size from the drop down menu. If you require a size that is not listed, please get in touch!- You will need to size up 1/2 to a full size for this style of ring. For example, if you are a size 7, you may want to size up to either a 7 1/2, 7/3/4, or an 8. If you have a particularly thick base on your finger, I suggest sizing up a full size. These rings are very unforgiving when they're too small, but much more forgiving when they're a bit too large.
Thanks for looking!
