Aqua hued lakes that sit at the base of the mountains are my favorite kind of escape. They're still in the mornings, perfectly reflecting the peaks of the mountains, like a deep blue mirror. In the springtime here in the Rocky mountains, the sediment from snow melt turns the water a beautiful green color, reminiscent of the hues projected in this stunning Royston turquoise stone. I've attempted to capture this memory of early morning mountain adventures with this ring, with the cascades sitting high above the lake.
